Finding the perfect Holiday gift for a homebody
It is never too early to start planning Christmas presents! Now that I think of it – the earlier the better! Finding the perfect Christmas present for all your loved ones is no easy task, after all. You want to be creative and original, but also make sure they actually like their gift.
Having a homebody friend or family member makes everything SO MUCH easier for you! Homebodies and introverts are the easiest kinds of people to go Christmas shopping for, as they are happy with anything that makes them feel comfortable and cozy.

I would know, as I am 100% homebody through and through. But you might not be, so I made this gift guide to make Christmas shopping for your homebody friend a little easier for you.
And let’s be honest – I think not just homebodies would be happy to receive these gifts..
Homebody Gift Guide for Christmas
To make this Christmas gift guide, I just thought of things that would make my own homebody heart EXTREMELY happy. You’ll notice I love my furry textures and cozy homeware.
And most homebodies would agree.

1. Throw Pillows & Cushion Covers
Your homebody friend will never have enough throw pillows and cushions. They spend a lot of time at home, so they like to change things up regularly.
Personally I like having a collection of cushions in seasonal colors that I can swap every few months. The necessary change of colors and textures, you know?
Here’s some of my top picks:
2. Scented Candles
You have NO idea how EXCITED a homebody can get over a scented candle. Their collection is never big enough.
They smell good, look cozy when lit (or even just as a decor item on the coffee table) and come in so many shapes, sizes and scents.
These are my absolute FAVORITE scented candle brands:
3. Home & Wardrobe Organizers
The typical homebody is organized and likes to keep their home tidy. They can never have enough organizers for their drawers, cupboards and kitchen. So a nice drawer divider, makeup brush holder or packing cube is a GREAT Christmas gift!
But be aware of the fact that organizers that are on display should always match the aesthetic of the home! Your homebody friend will appreciate that SO MUCH!
Some organizers that are super practical:
4. Kitchen & Storage Jars
Oooohh, the sight of a well put together kitchen with food like pasta, rice and cereal on display in jars. LOVE IT! Glass jars with cork stoppers are my personal favorite, but every kitchen has its own aesthetic and decorating it with some matching jars can never go wrong!
These gold and copper coffee spoons go perfectly with a cute jar as well!
Here’s some sweet looking jars and canisters:
5. Bedding
A homebody’s favorite place? Probably their bed. It’s where they relax, read books or just scroll through social media. It needs to look cozy and snug!
You can never go wrong with a nice set of new bedding for your homebody friend.
Here’s some inspiration to go through:
6. Pajama’s & Nightwear
As a homebody, I am not afraid to admit that AT LEAST half of my wardrobe consist of all kinds of cozy wear – such as pajama’s, onesies, sweatpants, hoodies and other comfy clothes.
Your homebody friend will appreciate an addition to their pajama’s collection as a Christmas gift, I swear!
My personal picks:
7. Onesies
Onesies certainly tie in with the pajama’s, but I think they deserve a category on their own.
If I could live my whole life in a onesie, I would. They are SO comfortable, cute, goofy, warm and cozy. Every homebody needs at least one onesie in their life.
Here’s some cute onesies:
8. Home Fragrances
This one is pretty self-explanatory, right? A homebody likes to spend time at home, so obviously they enjoy home fragrances such as room sprays and fragrance sticks! Easy one!
Apologies for only including Rituals ‘Happy Buddha’ items in my favorites down below, but I am just OBSESSED with this line and I can assure you my home smells like this 24/7! If you click the item you can find other scents as well.
So here’s my own favorites:
9. Fuzzy Socks & Slippers
I know I keep saying this, but a homebody can NEVER own enough fuzzy socks and slippers. They go through them at the speed of light, so they’re always in need of more!
Mmm, glorious comfy socks.. The thicker and chunkier, the better.
These’s are GREAT examples of what I mean:
10. Blankets & Throws
This Christmas gift guide for homebodies could not be complete without including blankets and throws! They are basically the definition of warmth and coziness. Your friend is probably happiest on the couch wrapped up in a blanket, nice and snug.
I know I am.
And there’s so many cute ones to choose from:
So, what do you think? Homebodies have good taste after all, right? Maybe you are starting to question your own identity? Are you a homebody at heart, too? Just kidding!

OMG YES to all of the above! :-) I never heard of ‘homebodies’ before but that is me in a nutshell apparently. Thank you for that…will pass this entry on to my hubby as a kind but gently reminder/hint ;-)
Haha! Yay! Welcome to the homebody club! :D
