What time is it? Summer time!! And boho fashion is totally HOT right now! So how do you pick the perfect pair of shoes to match your favorite boho outfits? Let’s have a look at what’s cute!
What shoes to wear with your bohemian outfit?
Do you know what I love about shoes? They can change the vibe of your look instantly! Wearing a flowy dress that’s a little too cutesy for your liking? Pair it with a laced boot and BAM – it looks edgy! Outfit looking a little too boring and casual? Add a nice heel and you instantly feel more fabulous and feminine!
Trust me, it does the trick!
So how do you play around with the vibe of your boho fashion?
The perfect boho shoes: espadrilles
If you ask me, the perfect shoes for any bohemian princess are.. no shoes! Obviously, you want to be grounded and feel the grass and the dirt under your feet. I get it.
But let’s be real – you need a good shoe to protect your feet when you’re going out and about. And my way to go is espadrilles! They complete the look and match the vibe of your outfit. Not only are espadrilles SO comfy, they also look very bohemian and natural.
I highly recommend espadrilles from Fred De La Bretoniere! They have a lovely selection of flats and wedges. Another solid option is VIA VAI’s espadrilles. Lots of natural shades and they all have those quintessential jute linings around the soles.

Shoes that make your boho outfit more edgy
Maybe you’re not THAT boho personally. You just really like the clothes, but you want to make it more FASHION! Try combining it with a cool boot!
So many options here, but I really like the look of thigh highs under a boho mini skirt or short dress. Or how about a laced army boot under a midi skirt? Or cowboy boots! Or – hear me out – a chelsea boot under a wrap skirt! The latter is my personal favorite.
Make it casual
Not a fan of being the center of attention? Are you looking to dress the outfit down a tad? You can easily make it more casual and wearable by adding a casual shoe such as a sneaker. You can go white or any creamy off-white shade. Heck – even a brown would do well!
Shoes like Converse or Vans go with practically anything, so you can also wear your trusty All-Stars to make your boho wardrobe more casual and chill and spontaneous!
And if you’re not feeling any of these options you can always go with the easiest option – flip flops! You can never go wrong with those, can you?

These outfits look so impressive. I really love them so much.
